Founder
Patrick is an experienced welder and has been welding for over 20 years. He grew up in Embrun, Ontario where at just 18 years old he started learning to weld while working at his cousin's shop. To this day, he has continued to help his cousin with welding and fabrication jobs. Including helping build trailers, smokers, and docks.
In 2012 Patrick received a certificate in welding from Algonquin College.
PYG Welding was founded in 2019 when Patrick decided to open a small shop in his home in Orleans. At that time he was welding smaller jobs and fixing snowblowers and lawn equipment. He started building trailers and quickly realized he didn't have the room to work on such large jobs, so he moved some of his shop out of town to a friend's farm. In 2021 Patrick and his family moved to Carlsbad Springs and is home to his brand new shop!

Fun fact: The "Y" in PYG stands for Patrick's middle name Yan.
